Art 2 Typography Examples

*Projects will be on an 18"x24" paper*

Images must:

1. Take up the entire paper (draw big!)

2. Words must fill in the image, NOT outline.

3. May use multiple colors or keep black and white.

4. Words or letter must be relevant to the images (they must relate)

5. Wording size may vary (it can be in various sizes throughout the images or can stay in one size)

Art I Student Work

Art I Students just started painting.  We attempted with Mini Canvas measuring 2x3 inches.  Many students were confused as to how the end product would look like since the canvas was so small.  They were all pleased with the overall end product.  Here are our masterpieces!

Art I Examples for Mini Painting

Today we are in the library looking for pictures that we will use as inspiration for this week's mini canvas painting.  You must look online for different examples of what you would like to paint.  Please stay away from extremely detailed pictures because the canvas we will be working on is very small and it will be hard for you to add the details to the image.  

Pictures must be an image.  I will NOT allow any type of Logo, Symbol or Lettering.  You must have 4 examples by the end of the period for you to receive your full 100 for today's grade.  If  you have any question or doubt, please ask and I will clarify.
